Child among six people injured by Israeli colonists near Nablus

NABLUS, unday, June 9, 2024 (WAFA) – Six Palestinians, including a child, were injured by live bullets today during an attack by Israeli colonists protected by Israeli occupation forces on the village of Urif, south of Nablus.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews dealt with a 15-year-old child, who was injured by live bullets in the shoulder, three young men with live bullets, one of them in the pelvis, a youth with shrapnel from live bullets, another with a stone in his hand, during confrontations that broke out with the occupation forces in the village of Ourif.

PRCS added that the occupation forces kept hold of one of its ambulances at al-Murabba’a military checkpoint, southwest of Nablus, while it was transporting an injured person to Rafidia Hospital.

Local sources explained that colonists under the protection of the occupation forces attacked the house of local resident Issam Al-Safadi and burned a vehicle. The villagers responded to the attack, sparking confrontations, during which the occupation soldiers fired live bullets, wounding four citizens, including a child.
