JERUSALEM, Thursday, June 6, 2024 (WAFA) – The all-Israeli municipality of occupied Jerusalem issued today a notice of confiscation for a large piece of Palestinian-owned land in the neighborhood of Wadi al-Joz in occupied East Jerusalem.
The notice targets a piece of land belonging to the families of Darwish, al-Hadmi, al-Khalidi, and al-Budairi. The occupation has been seeking to confiscate the land for several years, claiming it has remained vacant and uncultivated since 1987, under the pretext of making room for the construction of a public park.
