AMMAN, Tuesday, May 7, 2024 (WAFA) – The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs condemned the Israeli military control of the Palestinian side of the Rafah border crossing, blocking the entry of humanitarian aid to the Strip, who are suffering from an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.

The official spokesman for the Jordanian Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Sufyan Al-Qudah, said that the Israeli military control of  Rafah border crossing of the Rafah crossing, preventing the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip, and expanding their military operation in the city of Rafah, is a flagrant violation of the rules of international law and international humanitarian law, and a blatant violation of all human values.

He renewed his call to the international community, especially the Security Council, to assume its responsibilities in order to immediately stop the aggression waged against the Gaza Strip.

Al-Qudah further called for the urgent need to stop the ongoing Israeli violations of the rules of international law and international humanitarian law and held those responsible accountable.
