Prime Minister meets with Egyptian Ambassador to Palestine

RAMALLAH, Monday, April 22, 2024 (WAFA) - The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Mustafa, today met with the Egyptian Ambassador to Palestine, Ihab Suleiman, to follow up on the outcomes of the Prime Minister’s visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, in a way that contributes to strengthening the relief and humanitarian effort in the Gaza Strip.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister confirmed that the relief operation in Gaza consists of several steps, the first part is related to providing relief and humanitarian materials, the second part is how to bring aid through the crossings, and the third part is about how to manage distributing relief and humanitarian aid fairly throughout the Strip, and the fourth part is gradually restoring basic services, all in preparation for the subsequent reconstruction process.

The Prime Minister reiterated the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in several aspects, including: energy, education, health, and logistical matters, including shipping, transportation, and transportation, and food industries, which contributes to the process of economic recovery and the reconstruction process.

For his part, the Egyptian ambassador stressed that the Prime Minister’s visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt and his meeting with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, and a number of ministers is a message of support for the Palestinian government to advance all aspects of cooperation in a way that contributes to the success of its work tasks.
