GAZA, Sunday, April 14, 2024 (WAFA) - Five civilians were killed and dozens of others were injured tonight in Israeli airstrikes targeting a house northwest of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, Israeli warplanes shelled the house of the ‘Arabi family northwest of the Nuseirat camp, killing five people and injuring dozens of others. The occupation fighter aircraft also bombarded a mosque in the said camp, completely leveling it to the ground.
The occupation artillery also bombed a residential tower in the same camp.
According to medical sources, the bodies of several people were recovered from under the sand walls that were set up by the occupation army in the Beit Lahia housing project in northern Gaza, noting that the bodies of four people were recovered in different areas in Khan Yunis since this morning.
The number of civilians killed since the onset of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7 has reached 33,729. Some 76,371 others were injured.
Thousands remain missing under rubble or scattered on the roads, as ambulances and rescue teams continue to report their inability to reach them.
