RAMALLAH, Saturday, April 13, 2024 (WAFA) - A Palestinian teenager was shot dead by Israeli colonists tonight in the village of Beitin, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, according to medical sources.

The Ministry of Health confirmed the killing of 17-year-old Omar Ahmed Hamed due to critical injuries sustained during an attack by Israeli colonist militias on the village of Beitin.

Meantime, local sources reported that a group of colonists attacked the village from the western entrance, firing live ammunition at civilians who attempted to confront them, resulting in a teenager being shot with live bullets.

The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that its teams responded to the critical head injury of Hamed, who died in a few minutes due to the deadly attack.

The incident follows a surge in terror attacks since last Thursday evening by Israeli colonist militias across the occupied West Bank, resulting so far in at least three Palestinian civilians killed and many others injured, in addition to dozens of homes and vehicles set on fire.
