GAZA, Monday, April 8, 2024 (WAFA) - Several Palestinian citizens, mostly children and women, were killed and others injured this evening in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting several areas across the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported the killing of five citizens in an Israeli shelling targeting a building in Al-Maghazi refugee camp, in the center of the Strip. Simultaneously, a medical doctor, identified as Shadi Abu Hasanein, was also killed in an Israeli bombardment that targeted Al-Saraya junction in Gaza City.
In the meantime, rescue and civil defense teams recovered the bodies of 10 martyrs, including six children, killed by Israeli occupation forces in the Tiba Towers area northwest of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has so far resulted in the killing of 33,207 citizens, mostly children and women, and the injury of more than 75,933 others, in a preliminary toll.
Meanwhile, thousands are still unaccounted for and feared dead under the rubble of destroyed buildings or elsewhere, as the Israeli occupation forces continue to prevent ambulance crews from reaching them.
