RAMALLAH, Saturday, April 6, 2024 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa today received a congratulatory telegram from the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

In his telegram, the German Chancellor Scholz congratulated the newly appointed Prime Minister Mustafa on the formation of his government and expressed sincere hopes for the success of the newly constituted government and for him in carrying out his tasks.

He stressed that the German Federal Government would continue to provide humanitarian aid to the blockaded Gaza Strip and engage with European partners to support the two-state solution and achieve sustainable peace in the region.

He also stressed his country’s ongoing support to the Palestinian government’s reform program, the formation of the High Ministerial Committee for Reform as well as to setting up an Executive Office for Institutional Reform within the Prime Minister’s Office.
