Prime Minister Mustafa discusses with Egyptian counterpart efforts to reach a sustainable ceasefire in Gaza

RAMALLAH, Wednesday, April 03, 2024 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa Tuesday discussed with his Egyptian counterpart efforts to reach a sustainable ceasefire in Gaza.

During a phone call with his Egyptian counterpart Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister Mustafa discussed the means of halting the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people and Egypt’s efforts to broker an immediate and durable ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid into the Strip.

He also discussed with Madbouly the developments of the situation in the West Bank, particularly in Jerusalem, against the backdrop of ongoing Israeli military incursions, colonists’ attacks, movement restrictions, and land grab to make room for colonial settlement expansion.

Prime Minister Madbouly congratulated the newly appointed Prime Minister Mustafa on the formation of his government and expressed sincere hopes for the success of the newly constituted government in advancing the aspirations of the Palestinian people, while stressing the importance of ongoing Egyptian-Palestinian coordination at all levels.
