SALFIT, Friday, March 29, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces once again closed the entrance to the town of Deir Istiya in the occupied West Bank province of Salfit late last night, according to local sources.

This action marks the second time this month that the entrance has been sealed off by the Israeli occupation authorities, causing significant disruption to the lives of residents in the area.

Nazmi Salman, an activist working against settlements, told WAFA that an Israeli military bulldozer was deployed to block the western entrance of Deir Istiya using earthen barriers. 

The closure of the entrance to the town severely impacts the daily lives of residents, hindering their ability to travel freely in and out of the town for work, education, and essential services.
