NABLUS, Friday, February 9, 2024 (WAFA) - Six Palestinian civilians were shot with live ammunition last night during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, according to local sources.
WAFA correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed Beit Furik amid gunfire, triggering confrontations in the town. Ambulances from the Palestinian Red Crescent were barred from entering the town by the occupying forces.
The Red Crescent stated that as the forces pulled out from the town, its teams transported six wounded individuals to hospitals, five with live bullet injuries and the sixth with bullet shrapnel.
At the Israeli military checkpoint near Beit Furik, Israeli soldiers assaulted one of the injured individuals while being transferred in an ambulance, obstructing his arrival at the hospital.
