JENIN, Saturday, February 3, 2024 (WAFA) – This evening, a group of Israeli colonists, accompanied by Israeli occupation forces, raided several homes in the village of Farasin, southwest of Jenin, wreaking havoc inside the homes and seizing recordings of surveillance cameras, according to local sources.
Malik Al-Zaban, a local citizen, informed WAFA that a group of colonists, guarded by a military escort, stormed the village and targeted a poultry farm he owns. According to him, the colonists engaged in a spree of sabotage and destruction, tearing down plastic greenhouses and seizing surveillance recordings after smashing the screens.
He added that the settlers, accompanied by Israeli soldiers, raided several homes in the village, breaking doors and windows and confiscating surveillance recordings. The affected residents were identified as Basil Amarneh, Mohammad Amarneh, and Wajdi Mustafa.
Residents of the village have been subjected to continuous Israeli aggression, including demolitions, destruction of water networks, tanks, structures, homes, and wells.
Additionally, colonists have taken control of agricultural land in the mountainous area of the nearby Zabda village, grazing their livestock in the region. They prevent landowners from accessing their properties under the protection of the Israeli military, a situation that has persisted for an extended period.
