Palestinian youth wounded by Israeli gunfire south of Tulkarm

TULKARM, Saturday, February 3, 2024 (WAFA) – A young Palestinian man was wounded by Israeli occupation forces this evening during an Israeli military raid into the town of Kafr Jamal, located south of Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

The sources reported to WAFA that Israeli occupation forces stormed the town, sparking confrontations that saw the forces fire live ammunition, sound grenades, and tear gas at local residents. The Israeli raid resulted in a young man sustaining a gunshot wound to his chest.

The injured young man was transported by a Red Crescent ambulance to hospital for medical treatment.

Simultaneously, Israeli forces stormed the neighboring town of Baka al-Sharqiya, where they stopped civilian vehicles, conducted searches, and subjected the occupants to questioning.
