HEBRON, Tuesday, January 23, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces Tuesday demolished a Palestinian-owned house in the village of Lasifar, Masafer Yatta, south of the Hebron Governorate, in the south of the West Bank.
WAFA correspondent said that the occupation forces demolished a house in the village of Lasifar, southeast of Yatta, inhabited by local resident Mahmoud Khalil Abu Qubaita and his family, with an area of 120 square metres.
Fouad Al-Amour, coordinator of the Protection and Resilience Committees in Masafer Yatta and the South Hebron Mountains, explained that the house was home to approximately ten individuals, noting that its owner has all the legal papers confirming his ownership of it.
He added that the occupation forces and the colonists from the colonies of Lasifar and Khavat Talya aim to force the citizens to leave, to expand the colonization south of Hebron.
