GAZA, Friday, January 12, 2024 (WAFA) - At least 10 civilians, including children, were killed and others were injured tonight in an Israeli airstrike targeting a home sheltering displaced persons east of the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The occupation artillery also bombed the al-Bureij, al-Maghazi refugee camps and the town Zuwaida, as its warplanes launched several raids on Salah al-Din Road, and near the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, the center of the Strip.
Two bodies were recovered by ambulance and rescue crews from under the rubble in Khan Yunis, South Strip.
Israeli jets also launched strikes targeting the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Yunis, and areas in the southeast.
The occupation also shelled areas in the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City, causing wounds to several people.
Earlier, three civilians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City.
The number of people killed in the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has risen to more than 23,700, in addition to over 60,000 wounded.
