GAZA, Friday, January 12, 2024 (WAFA) – With the ongoing Israeli genocide campaign in Gaza entering its 98th day, several Palestinian civilians were killed over the past few hours as the Israeli occupation forces persisted in their indiscriminate airstrikes and artillery shelling across the besieged enclave, according to local sources.
In Gaza City, at least three civilians were killed in an Israeli artillery shelling which hit a location in the vicinity of the Al-Shuhada Mosque south of the city. The attack also left many others wounded. Simultaneously, Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes on the village of Juhor al-Dik, south of Gaza City.
Meantime, another Israeli airstrike resulted in casualties and injuries as the occupation forces targeted a house near the Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza.
In Khan Younis, south of the territory, additional civilians were killed and others sustained injuries following an airstrike on the Aram family's home. The attack not only claimed lives but caused extensive destruction to homes and properties in the area.
