Israeli colonists burn agricultural room and olive trees in Salfit

SALFIT, Wednesday, January 10, 2024 (WAFA) – Illegal Israeli colonists set ablaze an agricultural room and olive trees this evening owned by a local Palestinian farmer outside the town of Kafr ad-Dik, in the occupied West Bank province of Salfit.

Najeh Harb, the landlord, reported that a group of colonists ignited the fire in the agricultural room in in the northern area of the town, burning several mature olive trees near the structure.

This marks the fifth attack by settlers on his property, aimed at displacing him and seizing his land, he added.

Israeli settler violence has become a common feature of the daily life under the colonial Israeli military regime in the occupied West Bank, with colonists receiving impunity from the Israeli hard-right government and occupation forces for such acts of vandalism.
