NABLUS, Wednesday, January 10, 2024 (WAFA) – At least ten Palestinians were today injured and a sixth was detained following an Israeli military raid into the city of Nablus, according to local sources.
Red Crescent ambulance crews said that 5 people, including a child and an elderly woman, were injured by Israeli occupation live bullets. The crews provided the injured individuals with necessary aid and then transferred them into a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Sources pointed out that among the injured were three civilians aged 24, 33, and 28, two of whom were injured by live bullets, and a third in a beating attack by Israeli forces and was treated on the ground,
Additionally, a 16-year-old child was wounded by live bullets in the foot.
Israeli special forces stormed Al-Haddadin Market inside the Old City, surrounded a house, while the occupation forces detained local resident Nasr Mabrouka.
Large numbers of military jeeps and vehicles stormed the city from several directions, cordoned off all entrances leading to the Old City.
A number of snipers took over the rooftops of multiple houses.
Sources added that occupation forces are currently present in several areas in Nablus.
The occupying Israeli forces occupation forces broke into several homes and offices and caused damages to their contents, including the coffee shop of the slain Palestinian Wadih Al-Houh and the office of the Fatah organization in the western area of the Old City on Al-Nasr Street.
Several institutions announced that employees' working hours would be delayed by one hour, due to the ongoing storming of the city.
