WASHINGTON, Sunday, December 31, 2023 (WAFA) — Various Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic human rights organizations operating in the United States have announced their readiness for a week of action across several states under the banner of the National Week of Action, demanding an immediate halt to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
These institutions are actively preparing to launch activities from the first day of the new year until the 7th of January next month, delivering a message to the U.S. administration about the urgent need for intervention to stop the war and prevent the further killing of innocent civilians.
Throughout the National Week of Action across the United States, these organizations will call for a free Palestine, an end of the Israeli genocide, a termination of U.S. aid to Israel, a lifting the blockade on Gaza, and an end to Israeli occupation and colonization of Palestinian and Arab lands.
In the meantime, weekly protests persist across the United States, demanding an immediate end to the war. The largest of these took place in Manhattan, New York, where thousands of Orthodox Jews demonstrated in solidarity with Palestine, calling for an end to the brutal genocide against the Palestinian people.
