GAZA, Saturday, December 30, 2023 (WAFA) – Five Palestinian citizens were killed today in an Israeli bombardment targeting areas in the southern and central regions of Gaza, according to local and medical sources.
In Khan Yunis, south of the territory, four civilians were tragically killed in an intense bombardment in the vicinity of the European Hospital, located southeast of the city.
Additionally, another Palestinian was killed and two others sustained injuries due to heavy artillery shelling on a residence in the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that its teams promptly transferred the deceased and the injured to hospital for medical attention.
In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7 has resulted in over 21,500 victims, approximately 56,000 injuries, and thousands still missing, the majority being children and women.
