HEBRON, Friday, November 10, 2023 (WAFA) – In the early hours of this morning, Israeli occupation forces blew up two homes belonging to Mohammed and Saqer Shanteer, two Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, according to local sources.
WAFA correspondent reported that a large Israeli military force stormed the homes of the Shanteer family, forcibly evacuated their residents, and planted explosives before detonating the second floor of the first building, covering an area of 400 square meters. The forces also detonated a residential apartment in the second building.
The Israeli occupation forces also brought in a bulldozer to the site to complete the demolition process, imposing a military cordon around the area and preventing anyone from approaching.
Mohammed and Saqer Shanteer were arrested by Israeli occupation forces in August 2022. On the 23rd of the same month, the forces raided their homes, took measurements, and conducted surveys in preparation for their demolition.
