Israeli occupation forces fire on a vehicle near Ramallah, injure driver

RAMALLAH, Thursday, November 9, 2023 (WAFA) – A young Palestinian man sustained injuries tonight when Israeli occupation forces opened fire on his vehicle in the town of Ni'lin, located west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

The sources reported that the young man, a resident of the town, was hit by glass shrapnel in the upper part of his body when Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition towards the vehicle he was driving. The incident occurred as the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town.

The driver of the vehicle, who suffered minor injuries, had reportedly encountered an Israeli military presence in the town. As he attempted to make a U turn, the soldiers opened fire on his vehicle, leading to his injury.

This latest incident adds to the ongoing hardships and dangers faced by Palestinian civilians in the West Bank as they navigate their daily lives under occupation.
