Two Palestinians, including a child, injured in an attack by settlers in Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Thursday, November 9, 2023 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians, including a child, were injured in an attack by extremist Israeli settlers while the former were herding sheep in the village of Kisan, to the east of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

The head of the Kisan Village Council, Musa Ebayat, told WAFA that a group of colonial Israeli settlers attacked two Palestinians, including a 13-year-old child identified as Azzam Ghazal, while they were herding sheep near the village.

Ebayat said the settlers assaulted the two herders, including the child, by beating them with sticks, causing them head injuries. They were transported to a hospital in Bethlehem for medical treatment.

The incident is the latest in a series of state-sponsored Israeli settler violence targeting defenseless Palestinian communities across the occupied territories.
