RAMALLAH, Saturday, October 28, 2023 (WAFA) – Multiple capitals and cities across the globe witnessed massive demonstrations and marches today in solidarity with the Palestinian people amid the ongoing Israeli genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip.
London: Over 100,000 march in support of the Palestinian people
In London, the UK, over 100,000 people took to the streets in a show of solidarity with the Palestinian people and in protest of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza. The crowds assembled near the Golden Jubilee Bridge in the heart of London and concluded at Parliament Square. Demonstrators waved banners reading "Gaza, Stop the Massacre" and "Free Palestine, End The Occupation."
Thousands also participated in protests condemning Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in various cities across the UK, including Manchester and Glasgow. Protesters displayed Palestinian flags and banners with slogans such as "Freedom for Palestine," "End the Massacre," and "Sanctions on Israel."
Istanbul: Erdogan says Israel is committing a genocide in Gaza
In Istanbul, Turkiye, tens of thousands rallied in solidarity with the Palestinian people, demanding an immediate halt to the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Most Turkish provinces also already witnessed protests against the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.
Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, who addressed the massive crowds, said, "Israel has been openly committing war crimes for 22 days, but the Western leaders cannot even call on Israel for a ceasefire, let alone react to it."
"We will tell the whole world that Israel is a war criminal. We are making preparations for this. We will declare Israel a war criminal," he added.
Erdogan also criticized some Western nations' unconditional support for Israel, which has been making use of this support to commit war crimes against the Palestinian people.
Paris: Thousands rally in solidarity with the Palestinian people
In the French capital, Paris, thousands participated in a rally to express their support for the Palestinian people. Demonstrators chanted slogans such as "Gaza, Gaza, Paris is with you" and "It is humanity that is being killed, Gaza's children, Palestine's children."
Several lawmakers also joined the protests, wearing keffiyehs and carrying Palestinian flags.
Protests in various countries
Similar protests were held in several cities across Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan, condemning the ongoing aggression and massacres that have resulted in over 7,000 innocent Palestinian casualties, primarily among children and women.
Demonstrators called for an immediate halt to the Israeli aggression on Gaza, decrying the Israeli atrocities and expressing their discontent with international indifference.
Hundreds protest outside Israeli embassy in Canada
In Canada, hundreds gathered outside the Israeli embassy in Toronto, protesting against the massacres of civilians in Gaza. Demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and displayed various slogans, including "Freedom for Palestine."
Protests in the United States
Numerous U.S. states have also seen a series of protests in the past few days, including New York, where thousands of demonstrators called for an end to Israeli aggression in Gaza and criticized U.S. support for this aggression.

The Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, hosted massive protests, with thousands of people expressing their condemnation of Israeli occupation and its crimes.

Protests in Indonesia
In the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, thousands of people rallied in support of Palestine and in condemnation of Israeli aggression against Gaza. Demonstrators also criticized international silence regarding these events.
Protests across Europe
Demonstrations took place in various European countries, with London witnessing the largest turnout, in addition to Brussels, Berlin, Rotterdam in the Netherlands, and Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.
In all these countries, participants raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans demanding freedom for Palestine, an immediate cessation of the Israeli aggression, an end to the Gaza blockade, and an end to international support and inaction concerning Israeli occupation crimes.
