The infamous Beit Iksa checkpoint.

JERUSALEM, Saturday, October 28, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists today punctured the tires of 10 Palestinian-owned vehicles in the village of Beit Iksa, northwest of occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources said colonists stormed the outskirts of the village and vandalized the tires of 10 vehicles that were parked in a private parking lot near the illegal Samuel settlement built on village lands.

They said this is the fourth time that colonist settlers have vandalized vehicles parked in that area since the beginning of this month.

It is noteworthy that Beit Iksa has a single entrance with a permanent Israeli army checkpoint, which deliberately harasses village residents and obstructs the entry of anyone from outside it except under strict conditions.

The town, surrounded by the apartheid barrier, is inhabited by approximately 2,500 people who live in very difficult conditions as a result of the continuous closure for 20 years.
