Scores of Palestinians detained by Israeli occupation forces in West Bank

RAMALLAH, Friday, October 27, 2023 (WAFA) – Scores of Palestinians were rounded up last night in an ongoing massive Israeli detention campaign that has seen hundreds of Palestinians arrested by the forces since the beginning of this month, according to local sources.

In the Hebron province, south of the West Bank, 16 Palestinians were confirmed arrested by the Israeli occupation forces as they stormed the towns of as-Samu', ad-Dhahiriya, Dura, and Beit Ummar.

Among the detainees are a wife, Amira Masalmeh, and her husband, Nadi Rajoub, who were arrested by Israeli forces who raided and searched their home in the town of Dura.

In Ramallah province, in the central West Bank, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Ni'lin and arrested four Palestinians. In addition, four more Palestinians were arrested by the forces as they stormed the nearby town of Kafr Ni'meh.

In Jerusalem governorate, occupation forces stormed the village of Hizma, where they detained four Palestinians, including two siblings.

In Jericho governorate, east of the West Bank, at least five Palestinians were arrested by Israeli occupation forces after raiding and searching their homes. One of the detainees was a woman, identified as Nada al-Lawzi, 57 years old.

In Bethlehem, south of the West Bank, at least 11 Palestinians were arrested by the Israeli occupation forces as they raided the city and the nearby Aida and Dheisha refugee camps.

At least one Palestinian was also arrested in the northern province of Nablus.

The ongoing Israeli detention campaign in the occupied West Bank coincides with the bloody Israeli aggression on Gaza.
