RAFAH, Sunday, October 22, 2023 (WAFA) – The second batch of relief convoys, which included fourteen trucks loaded with medical relief supplies, food, and water were brought tonight into the war-torn Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt.
The number of aid trucks that arrived in Gaza so far has reached 34, which is significantly less than the actual needs of Gaza, which used to have hundreds of trucks loaded with various supplies brought in daily prior to the war.
The first batch of aid convey, which included 20 trucks, entered Gaza yesterday, Saturday, after tireless efforts made by the Palestinian leadership headed by the President, and in full coordination with the brothers in Egypt headed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the Arab, regional and international parties.
