Colonist settlers attack Palestinians traveling on West Bank roads, uproot trees

NABLUS, Wednesday, October 18, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli colonist settlers today attacked Palestinians traveling on the northern West Bank roads, injuring a woman, while others uprooted trees, according to local and medical sources.

Medical sources said a 48-year-old woman was admitted to hospital in Nablus with head injuries caused by a stone thrown by settlers at the car she was in near the town of Burqa, north of Nablus.

Settlers also blocked the entrance to the village of Bazaria, on the Jenin-Nablus road, and shot at Palestinian cars on the roads, smashing windows and threatening the life of their passengers.

In the village of Tel, west of Nablus, colonist settlers leveled lands and uprooted olive trees just as the olive harvest season was starting.

They also attacked Palestinian commuters or nearby roads.
