GAZA, Saturday, October 14, 2023 (WAFA) – At least seven Palestinian civilians have been savagely murdered in an Israeli airstrike which targeted a residential building in the city of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, razing it to the ground. The Israeli airstrike also resulted in the injury of many others.
WAFA correspondent said that the Israeli airstrike targeted the building of the Jouda family without any prior warning, leading to the devastating outcome of seven casualties and numerous individuals being wounded. The injured were rushed to nearby Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital for medical treatment.
Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Health had disclosed an increase in the death toll due to the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian population in both Gaza and the West Bank. The total number of martyrs now stands at 2,269, with 9,814 individuals reported as injured.

In Gaza alone, the number of casualties has risen to 2,215 deaths and 8,714 injuries. In the West Bank, 54 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli occupation forces, with over 1,100 injured.
In the aftermath of the devastating Israeli aggression, the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that the health system in the Gaza Strip is at a breaking point, with time running out to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe if fuel and life-saving health and humanitarian supplies cannot be urgently delivered amidst the complete Israeli blockade.
