Over 20 Palestinian civilians massacred by an Israeli airstrike in Jabalia

GAZA, Saturday, October 14, 2023 (WAFA) – At least 20 Palestinian civilians, including children, were massacred this evening when Israeli warplanes launched a devastating airstrike on a residential building in the Al-Fakhura neighborhood, located west of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.

The terrorist Israeli attack also resulted in the injury of more than 80 other civilians.

WAFA correspondent said that Israeli fighter jets targeted a residential building with missiles without any prior warning, brutally murdering 20 people and wounding more than 80 others. The wounded were rushed to the Indonesian Hospital in the neighboring town of Beit Lahiya.

Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Health announced that the death toll due to the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in both Gaza and the West Bank had surged to 2,269, with 9,814 reported injuries.

In Gaza alone, the number of casualties has risen to 2,215 deaths and 8,714 injuries. In the West Bank, 54 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli occupation forces, with over 1,100 injured.

In the aftermath of the devastating Israeli aggression, the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that the health system in the Gaza Strip is at a breaking point, with time running out to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe if fuel and life-saving health and humanitarian supplies cannot be urgently delivered amidst the complete Israeli blockade.
