HEBRON, Friday, October 13, 2023 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth was shot and critically injured at point blank range today by an Israeli settler terrorist, while two others suffered bruises in the same attack in the village of Tuwani, located in the Masafer Yatta region, south of Hebron, according to local sources.
Mohamed Raba'i, the head of Tuwani Village Council, said the incident occurred when an Israeli settler armed with a rifle, and with the protection of the Israeli occupation military, opened fire on a Palestinian youth named Zakaria Al-Adra while he was near the village mosque.
Al-Adra sustained a gunshot wound to his abdomen and was subsequently rushed to the Martyr Abu Al-Hasan Al-Qasim Hospital in nearby Yatta town for medical treatment. His condition was described as critical.
In the aftermath of the shooting, the Israeli military assaulted two other young Palestinians, one of whom was shot in the head and the other in the chest. Both victims were taken to a medical clinic in Yatta for medical treatment.
