GAZA, October 7, 2023 (WAFA) – A Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance was targeted by an Israeli airstrike today outside Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, leaving several Palestinians injured, including a paramedic, with some in critical condition, according to local sources.
WAFA correspondent reported that an Israeli aircraft fired a missile directly at the Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance stationed in front of the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis. The missile strike resulted in a number of casualties, with some of the victims suffering severe injuries.
The Israeli military has continued its airstrikes on various locations across the Gaza Strip intermittently since early today morning. Columns of smoke and flames have been seen rising from the targeted areas, accompanied by significant destruction and damage to the properties and infrastructure in Gaza.
The Israeli attack raises serious concerns about the safety of medical personnel and humanitarian organizations operating in the Gaza Strip, as well as the overall humanitarian situation in the region.
