Israeli occupation forces storm Jenin, detain five people

JENIN, Tuesday, April 11, 2023 (WAFA) - The Israeli occupation forces today stormed the northern West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp and detained five people, according to local and Palestinian security sources.

They told WAFA that the occupation forces arrested two siblings after raiding their family home in al-Jabriyat neighborhood, and a third after breaking into his family home in another area of the city.

WAFA correspondent said large forces stormed neighborhoods in the city and the vicinity of Jenin refugee camp and deployed snipers on the rooftops.

The occupation forces also stormed a house in Jenin camp and arrested a man and his son.

At the same time, said the correspondent, a special undercover unit surrounded a house adjacent to Jenin camp, and that explosions were heard in the area.

Violent confrontations erupted between youths and the occupation forces in several areas, during which soldiers fired live bullets and sound and gas bombs, resulting in the injury of one youth by shrapnel in the foot.
