RAMALLAH, Thursday, February 23, 2023 (WAFA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates today criticized as shy, weak and reflect double standards the international reactions to the Nablus massacre committed by Israel and which resulted in the death of 11 Palestinians, including three elderly people and a child, and the injury of more than 102 others, including seven in critical condition.

“The international reactions were shy and weak, almost equating between the victim and the executioner, and not rising to the level of the Israeli occupation’s massacre in Nablus, which rises to the level of war crimes and crimes against humanity,” said the Ministry in a statement.

“These reactions are not consistent with the positions of states and the international community regarding their concern about international law, international humanitarian law and human rights principles, or their alleged concern about the two-state solution and the peace process, especially since most of them avoid holding the Israeli government fully and directly responsible for this and other crimes, their repercussions on the region, and their risks in fueling tensions that threaten to explode the entire area,” added the Foreign Ministry.
