Palestinian boy assaulted by settlers, detained near Jericho

JERICHO, Friday, November 18, 2022 (WAFA) – Illegal Israeli settlers today assaulted and beat up a Palestinian boy near the village of Mu'arrajat, to the west of Jericho city in the east of the occupied West Bank, before he was arrested by the Israeli occupation forces, according to local sources.

Eid Barahmeh, a Palestinian activist based in Jericho, told WAFA that a group of Israeli settlers brutally assaulted Ali Mohammad Mlehat, 17, causing him bruises and a loss of consciousness.

He said an Israeli army force arrived at the scene of the attack shortly afterwhile and detained the boy, denying him access to hospital for medical treatment.
