HEBRON, Thursday, October 13, 2022 (WAFA) – Israeli military forces today attacked an elementary school in the northern part of Hebron city with tear gas canisters, causing dozens of Palestinian students and faculty members to suffocate and lose consciousness.

The school principal, Rawhi al-Zoor said Israeli forces deliberately targeted the schoolyard with tear gas canisters, causing at least 17 students to faint and dozens of others, including teachers, to suffocate.

Israeli army previously carried out numerous attacks, with the deliberate and reckless use of force, against schools and educational facilities across the West Bank, in a serious violation of international law and students’ right to pursue education in a safe environment.
