RAMALLAH, Wednesday, September 14, 2022 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces today and last night detained 14 Palestinians in multiple raids across the occupied territories, including four siblings, according to local and security sources.
In Nablus district, a convoy of army vehicles stormed Jamain town, south of Nablus city, broke into several houses, conducted thorough searches and detained four siblings.
Soldiers also raided Einabus village, south of the city, resulting in the detention of two others.
Another was detained from Nablus city.
Israeli forces rounded up two other Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking the houses of their families in al-Janiya village, northwest of Ramallah city, and detained another in Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah.
Soldiers also set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Abu Mashaal village, northwest of Ramallah, stopped Palestinian-registered vehicles, checked passengers’ ID cards and eventually detained one person.
In the southern West Bank, soldiers raided the southern part of Hebron city and detained one person.
In the Jerusalem district, soldiers manning a checkpoint to the northeast of the city stopped and arrested a former prisoner.
Another was detained in Isawiyya neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem.
