BETHLEHEM, Wednesday, August 10, 2022 (WAFA) – A number of Palestinians suffocated today by tear gas during clashes that broke out with Israeli forces in the town of Taqou to the southeast of Bethlehem, according to a local official.
Taysir Abu Mefreh, director of the municipality of Taqou, said clashes concentrated at the western entrance to the town. The Israeli army fired live bullets and tear gas canisters toward residents, causing dozens to suffocate.
