GAZA, Sunday, August 07, 2022 (WAFA) – Twelve more Palestinians were killed tonight in ongoing Israeli airstrikes against the Gaza Strip bringing the total to 43, according to the Ministry of Health and WAFA correspondent.
Israeli warplanes attacked a cemetery in Jabaliya in the north of the Gaza Strip, a gathering of people in Gaza city, and a house east of Bureij in the central Gaza Strip killing 12 people.
Reports said five people, mainly children, were killed when a missile hit the cemetery, three were killed in Gaza city, three siblings were killed in al-Bureij, and one person was killed in an attack in Jabaliya.
Out of the 43 Palestinians killed so far in three days of Israeli attacks against Gaza, 15 were children and four were women. More than 310 were injured.
The rise in the death toll came as Egypt is leading efforts to bring a ceasefire that is expected to take hold tonight.
