RAMALLAH, Thursday, June 23, 2022 (WAFA) – The Palestinian national football team, Al Fidaii, was elevated to 94th place in the FIFA rankings issued today, up from 100 in March.
The team's new ranking was a result of its success in qualifying for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.
The national team was also named on the list of the 15 best teams in Asia.
In the Arab world, Morocco continued to lead the Arab teams after it was ranked 22nd, while Tunisia took the 30th place, followed by Egypt 40th place, and Algeria 41st.
Internationally, Brazil retained the top FIFA spot, followed by Belgium while Argentina took third place.
