RAMALLAH, Thursday, February 03, 2022 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh is scheduled to head to the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa tomorrow to participate in the African Union Summit on behalf of President Abbas.
The summit, which will be held in the presence of all African leaders and the UN Secretary-General, is expected to discuss a proposal submitted by some member states regarding canceling Israel's admission to the African Union.
President Mahmoud Abbas has used to attend the summit every year due to the important role of Africa and its support for the Palestinian cause, as well as for its pursuit of justice in Africa and elsewhere around the world.
