Israeli forces shoot, critically injure teenager in Hebron-area clashes

HEBRON, Tuesday, September 28, 2021 (WAFA) – A Palestinian teenager was shot and injured with live ammunition during clashes with Israeli forces in al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, the southern occupied West Bank, according to the ministry of health.

Clashes reportedly broke out at the entrance to the al-Arroub refugee camp, during which Israeli forces fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters towards residents.

A sixteen-year-old teenager was shot in the abdomen with live ammunition, which necessitated his transfer to hospital, where his condition was described as critical.

Several residents suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
