RAMALLAH, Wednesday, May 12, 2021 (WAFA) – Eight people have died of coronavirus in Palestine in the last 24 hours, 493 new cases were recorded, and 959 patients have recovered, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila in her daily report on COVID-19 in Palestine.
She said six people died in the Gaza Strip where 373 new cases were recorded, and 620 recovered.
In the West Bank, two have died, 120 new cases recorded, and 339 patients recovered.
Alkaila said 73 patients are in intensive care, among them 23 are on ventilators.
At the same time, 232,737 people have been vaccinated against the disease in the West Bank, and 38,793 in the Gaza Strip.
