RAMALLAH, Monday, March 15, 2021 (WAFA) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) today denounced the opening in the occupied city of Jerusalem of an office affiliated to the Czech Embassy, and another affiliated to the Embassy of Kosovo.
It affirmed in a press statement that this illegal act “violates international law and all relevant UN resolutions, particularly UN Security Council resolution 478, which prohibits the establishment of diplomatic missions in the occupied city.”
The General Secretariat called for abstaining from causing prejudice to the historical, legal and political status of the occupied city of Jerusalem, which forms an integral part of the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967.
