RAMALLAH, Tuesday, February 02, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is mainly clear and fair in mountainous districts and relatively warm in other districts in daytime with a rise in temperature, which approaches 5°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Partly cloudy and relatively cold conditions are expected tonight. Light to moderate easterly wind blows in daytime, and becomes active in nighttime. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 11°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 18°C and a low of 10°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 14°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
No change in temperature is expected tomorrow, Wednesday, with clear to partly cloudy and mild conditions in mountainous districts and relatively warm conditions in other districts in daytime. Chance of sporadic rain, mainly in the south and center, with isolated thunderstorms are expected in nighttime.
A low-pressure front is expected to affect the region on Thursday, causing temperature to plummet with partly cloudy and relatively cold conditions. Scattered rain with occasional thunderstorms are expected, especially in the south and center.
No change in temperature on Friday, with partly cloudy and cold to relatively cold conditions. Scattered rain showers with occasional thunderstorms will continue, with the chance of rain gradually tapering off towards the night.
