RAMALLAH, Monday, February 1, 2021 (WAFA) – A significant rise in temperature is expected today in Palestine to become 4°C above the average for this time of the year as cold conditions continue in the mountainous districts, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are easterly, moderate to occasionally active, and sea waves are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 10°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 15°C and a low of 9°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 13°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Another rise in temperature is expected for tomorrow, Tuesday, to become 5°C above the average.
No change in temperature or weather conditions is expected for Wednesday, while the region is expected to be affected by a cold front on Thursday causing temperature to plummet and conditions become cold as rain and thunderstorms are expected in some areas, said the PMD.
