RAMALLAH, Tuesday, January 26, 2021 (WAFA) – Ten people have died of coronavirus in Palestine in the last 24 hours, 660 new cases were recorded, and 913 patients have recovered, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila in her daily report no coronavirus in Palestine.

She said that five people have died in the Gaza Strip, three in East Jerusalem over two days, and two in the West Bank.

East Jerusalem recorded 151 new cases over two days and 273 recoveries, the West Bank 295 new cases and 205 recoveries in 24 hours, and the Gaza Strip had 214 new cases and 435 recoveries.

Alkaila said 66 patients remain in intensive care, including 16 who are on respirators.

She said that 93.7 percent of the total cases recorded in Palestine since the outbreak in March have recovered, 5.2 percent remain active, and 1.1 percent have died.
