RAMALLAH, Tuesday, December 22, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy to clear and relatively cold in mountainous districts and mild in other districts in daytime with a drop in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Weather tonight is cold, particularly in mountainous districts, with a chance of isolated rain showers. Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly wind blows. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 11°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 15°C and a low of 10°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 17°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 14°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Wednesday’s temperature is set to drop, paving the way to partially cloudy to cloudy and cold conditions in most districts. Sporadic rain showers with occasional thunderstorms are expected in the evening and night hours.
An additional slight drop in temperature is expected on Thursday, paving the way to partially cloudy to cloudy and cold conditions in most districts. Sporadic rain showers with occasional thunderstorms are still expected, with the showers tapering off towards the evening.
Friday’s temperature is set to rise and become seasonal, paving the way to partially cloudy to clear and cold conditions in mountainous districts and relatively cold conditions in other districts.
PMD warns people against slippery roads and low horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog and clouds on Wednesday and Thursday.
