RAMALLAH, Sunday, November 22, 2020 (WAFA) – Sixteen people have died of coronavirus in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, while 1560 new cases were recorded and 748 cases have recovered, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila in her daily report on coronavirus in Palestine.
The minister said that 13 people between the ages of 54 and 89 have died of the disease in the West Bank, while three deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
The new coronavirus cases were distributed as follows: 81 in Hebron, 173 in Nablus, 69 in Bethlehem, 36 in Qalqilia, 132 in Ramallah, 73 in Jenin, 17 in Jericho, 19 in Salfit, 45 in Tulkarem, and 44 in Tubas, in addition to 17 others in Jerusalem suburbs, 170 in Jerusalem, and 684 in the Gaza Strip.
A total of 279 people recovered in the West Bank, 200 in the Gaza Strip, and 146 in East Jerusalem, the minister said, adding that 55 patients remain in intensive care units, among them 10 are on respirators.
