RAMALLAH, Wednesday, November 4, 2020 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians have died of the coronavirus disease, all in the West Bank, in the last 24 hours, 734 new cases were recorded in Palestine, and 526 patients have recovered, today said Health Minister Mai Alkaila in her daily report on coronavirus in Palestine.
Two of the three deaths were over 90 years of age and the third was 79, said the Minister.
The majority of the 401 new cases in the West Bank were in the Nablus district where 132 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, 54 in the Hebron district, 50 in the Bethlehem district, 42 in Jenin district, Tulkarm 36, and 41 in Ramallah district. Other districts had less than 10.
East Jerusalem had 52 new cases and the Gaza Strip 281 cases, said Alkaila.
A total of 46 have recovered in East Jerusalem, 350 in the West Bank, and 130 in the Gaza Strip.
Recoveries reached 87.87 percent of the total cases since the start of the pandemic in Palestine in March, active cases stood at 11.28 percent; including 36 who remain in intensive care, among them eight on respirators, and deaths 0.85 percent.
